Final Fantasy XIV News: Patch 2.2 Update Features New Glamour System, Weapons, Gears, And More! [PHOTOS & VIDEO]

Square Enix's impressively massive multiplayer online-role playing game (MMORPG), Final Fantasy XIV, has a new Patch 2.2. The Patch 2.2 features some impressive updates for its new Glamour system, weapons, and gears to new quest, monsters and more. It is first featured in the Square Enix website section of Final Fantasy XIV and a trailer of the Patch 2.2 has already been released. For those who haven't seen it, here is the video posted below.

Final Fantasy XIV Patch 2.2 features new weapons and gears. Gerolt's masterworks are a set of gears obtainable through the exchange of Allagan tomestones of soldiery. They will be created by Gerolt, a weaponssmith from Eorzea.

Another new feature is the Glamour system. By using Glamours, players can alter the appearance of a gear to another and having similar form and functions. To unlock these Glamours players must complete certain quest and when completed the option Cast Glamaour will appear under General Actions in the Actions and Traits interface.

There are also a variety of new features such as New Hairstyles, Gardening, and Big Fishing as well as new areas like the lost city of Amdapor and new main quest scenarios.

The release date for the Final Fantasy XIV Patch 2.2 is on March 27, so expect Final Fantasy gamers to gear up for a new adventure in the realm of Final Fantasy XIV.
