The "Fantastic Four" reboot film, which is set for release on June 19, 2015, is already making the headlines as the actors involved in the fim talk about their upcoming roles  and Tim Blake Nelson becomes the newest addition to the cast.

Twentieth Century Fox's latest project has begun production at Baton Rogue's Celtic Media Centre on May 5, a production spokesman has confirmed. The film will be directed by Josh Trank of Chronicle fame, and will be starred by Miles Teller, who will play Reed Richards, a.k.a Mr. Fantastic, Kate Mara as Sue Storm/the Invisible woman, Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm/The Thing, and Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch.

Michael B. Jordan spoke about his role as the human torch, describing how much he is looking forward to playing the superhero that he followed as a child.

"I grew up watching Saturday morning 'X-Men' all the time," Jordan said in an interview with ABC News. "To me this is living out a dream -- playing a comic book character I grew up reading."

Kate Mara is also excited about her role as Sue Storm, pointing out the "Fantastic Four" reboot director's unique take on the film. She is also thrilled about the upcoming project, which she said, "will be different than anything she has ever done".

"I really loved [director] Josh Trank's take on it," Mara told Manhattan Magazine. "And I'm a fan of his last film, 'Chronicle,' which was like an anti-superhero movie-really dark, which is what I like."

"I like things that are rooted in reality and that are dark and not what you expect. And I think that that's probably what 'Fantastic Four' will be," Kate Mara added.

Also adding some flavor into the film is Tim Blake Nelson, who will be taking on the role of Dr. Harvey Elder, a.k.a Mole Man.

In a report by The Hollywood Reporter, the Mole Man character will not yet be making an appearance in the film. However, Dr. Elder's role will "set up the character to be the villain in future installments of the franchise."
