You Who Came From the Stars" Movie Released In Summer In China
SBS drama "You Who Came from the Stars" will be released on the big screen in China this summer.
HB Entertainment is the production company of "You Who Came from the Stars". In a phone conversation with SportsSeoul.com on the morning of May 7th, HB Enteratinment said, "We have contracted with a Chinese production company about the copyrights. The production company said, "First, we decided to release the motion picture only in China. We plan to make the twenty one episodes into a two-hour long movie and whether there will be additional scenes that are filmed will only be decided after this re-editing process ends" he added.
"You Who Came from the Stars" has been a popular drama that aired from December 2013 until February this year. During its airing, it rated up to 30% in ratings according to Neilsen Korean around the country and was loved dearly. The story is about a romance between an alien who falls onto the Chosun Dynasty in Korea 400 years ago. He is played by Kim Soo Hyun in the role of Do Min Joon and he falls in love with the Korean wave star Jun Ji Hyun in the role of Chun Song Yi.
After the broadcasting of this drama, "You Who Came from the Stars" was very much loved by the Chinese audience and spread itself like a cultural phenomenon. The actors int eh drama such as Kim Soo Hyun, Park Hae Jin, and Jun Ji Hyun were also extremely popular individually in China as well.
