Alec Baldwin took to Twitter to express his feeling towards his recent arrest in New York City.

Before going on Twitter, The "30 Rock" star was arrested after riding his push bike the wrong way down Fifth Avenue, according to TVNZ.

Alec Baldwin was handcuffed and reportedly taken away in a police car after going "ballistic" at the two female officers who were arresting him.

When the 56-year-old actor failed to show ID, he was taken into custody at 13th Precinct and given two summons including one for traffic violation and a second for disorderly conduct, reports MailOnline.

Baldwin went on Twitter when he returned home to photographers and reporters in front of his home, writing, "Officer Moreno arrested me and handcuffed me for going the wrong way on Fifth Ave."

He made sure to add, "Meanwhile, photographers outside my home ONCE AGAIN terrified my daughter and nearly hit her with a camera. The police did nothing."

Alec Baldwin was accompanied by his wife Hilaria and eight-month old daughter Carmen.

The actor didn't hide his bitter feelings towards New York at the moment on his Twitter account as he tweeted, "New York City is a mismanaged carnival of stupidity that is desperate for revenue and anxious to criminalize behavior once thought benign."

Despite his arrest, the actor has made plans for his next career move.

He is set to portray Bob Maheau, Howard Hughes' lawyer, in the upcoming Warren Beatty film, according to Deadline.com.

The cast of the film includes Martin Sheen, Matthew Broderick, Lily Collins, Alden Ehrenreich and Annette Bening.
