Johnny Depp Movies Alert! Actor Confirmed To Star In Title Role For James ‘Whitey’ Bulger; Warner Bros. Announces Final Casting

Johnny Depp movies have always caused a stir. Now, fans of the actor have another flick of their idol to look forward to as Warner Bros. have officially revealed the final cast lineup for the movie about the Boston mobster. Depp is confirmed to take the title role of James 'Whitey' Bulger.

Although the project still lacks an official title, this movie is lifted from the book, "Black Mass: The True Story of an Unholy Alliance between the FBI and the Irish Mob". The newest addition to Johnny Depp movies has just started filming several scenes in different locations such as Cambridge and Boston, Massachusetts.

Other stars who are confirmed to join Depp in the movie are Benedict Cumberbatch ("Sherlock", "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug") who will act as Bulger's brother named 'Billy Bulger', Jesse Plemons ("Breaking Bad", "Friday Night Lights") as Bulger's partner-in-crime,Kevin Weeks, and Sienna Miller ("Factory Girl") as Bulger's girlfriend, Catherine Grieg.

Dakota Johnson ("Fifty Shades of Grey") will also grace the movie, performing the role of Bulger's former girlfriend and mother of his only child. In addition, the cast also includes Joel Edgerton ("The Great Gatsby"), Julianne Nicholson ("August: Osage County), Adam Scott ("Parks and Recreation"), Rory Cochrane ("Argo" ), Cory Stoll ("House of Cards"), Brad Carter, W. Earl Brown and David Harbour.

The newest among Johnny Depp movies, this film is expected to be shown in theaters worldwide in 2015.
