One Direction Concert In The Philippines Extended! 2nd Showing Confirmed And Will Happen The Day After The First Concert In 2015! Third Concert Being Discussed?
Filipino fans can finally rejoice as concert promoter MMI Live has confirmed an encore of One Direction Live in Manila is happening!
In a tweet posted last Sunday, Rhiza Pascua, head of concert promoter MMI Live, confirmed that a second show has been added to the group's "On The Road Again" stop in Manila in 2015.

In addition, a tweet posted on Tuesday by GMA News reporter Cata Tibayan said that a 2nd concert is already booked as confirmed by Ovation Productions and MMI Live.

There's no denying how popular One Direction is in the Philippines. As a matter of fact, many had shared their stories in a local TV show titled "Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho" about their struggles just to get their hands on these 'precious' tickets. A teenage girl sold her Mac Book Pro for the same price of the VIP ticket (P17,950) and another promised her parents that she will be the top 1 in her class in the upcoming school year just to be able to watch this concert.
It is very interesting to see these teenagers go the distance for this band and there are definitely more fascinating stories out there. But what if the ticket demand for the second concert is still that high and gets sold out quickly? Will a third and last concert finally do the trick? For the meantime, fans will just have to stay tuned.
One Direction's concerts are now set for March 21 and 22, 2015 at the SM Mall of Asia grounds.
There was a massive turnout when ticket booths opened last Friday, as fans showed up at the MOA grounds as early as Thursday, some of them even bringing pillows, fans, food, and drinks. According to an earlier report by GMA News' Athena Imperial, tickets sold out quickly, including VIP tickets worth P17,950.
