Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi divorce rumors are contradicted by reports that the duo are planning to renew their wedding vows in Sydney. Australia.

Gay Star News reported that according to OK Magazine, DeGeneres and De Rossi  "want to show their commitment to each other" and help push for same-sex marriage in De Rossi's home country.

''[They] are looking to do something on or around August 16, their sixth wedding anniversary, in Portia's home country of Australia. They want it to be in Sydney because the city has a big gay population, and they want to help spur the acceptance of same-sex marriage,'' an insider told the magazine.

"There have been a lot of headlines suggesting that their relationship is in trouble. They want to quash them," the insider added.

DeGeneres and De Rossi tied the knot in August 2008 after four years of dating. They married at their Los Angeles home in front of just 19 guests. According to Examiner, this time around would be in front of more people and more publicly orchestrated. Renewing their vows will also confirm the strength of their marriage.

In an interview with People last February, DeGeneres addressed their rumoured shaky relationship. She said, "The truth is, and this is corny, I fall more in love with Portia all the time. I really do. She surprises me all the time. It's what anyone experiences when you find that person that gets you, wants to take care of you, wants the best for you. We're really lucky because we know how rare it is."

According to report, DeGeneres shared similar sentiments before they were first married. She said, "She's taught me lessons about myself, and I feel like I've taught her. We've both changed and grown, and we just feel like, 'Oh, okay, this is completion.'"

The duo recently spent $35,000 for home spa at their house in Holmby Hills, California. They bought the home for a whopping $40 million in January.
