Chris Brown News 2014: ‘Fine China’ Singer Freed From Jail, Got Surprise Welcome Home Thrown By GF Karrueche Tran
Chris Brown was surprised by his model girlfriend Karrueche Tran to celebrate his release from prison. According to Mirror, Tran, who has been reunited with the "Kiss Kiss" singer, threw a welcoming home party.
E! News reported that the party took place at a private residence in Los Angeles on Thursday, June 5. Brown, who wears a spotted, camouflage-print button-down shirt and shorts appeared to be healthy and in great spirits. Tran, sporting a tight, white mini dress, led the singer blindfolded through the home and to the backyard to the guests, who greeted him with cheers. Partygoers included the likes of model Amber Rose, T-Pain and Big Sean.
The 25-year-old singer was released from jail after serving 108 days for violating his probation stemming from his assault on Rihanna in 2009. According to Mirror, the R & B badboy is said to be determined to stay on the right track now and he wants to be a better person.
"Jail was one of those things that humbled Chris and really just made him understand, point blank, that the world doesn't revolve around him," a source told Hollywood life.
"He's going to be taking his prescribed medication daily and do his best not to smoke or even drink. After being in jail, he's proven to himself that he can in fact live without abusing those substances and wants to continue that type of sober living. He can do it. And he will because he knows it's good for him," the insider added.
According to Mirror, "Brown was originally sentenced to 365 days in custody on May 9 after admitting he violated his probation by getting into a fight in Washington D.C. last year, but Judge James R. Brandlin gave him credit for the 234 days he had already spent in rehab and jail."
