Katy Perry Dating Ex Diplo; Sources Claim ‘Roar’ Singer And DJ Never Split Up

"Roar" singer Katy Perry is dating DJ Diplo once again after their reported split last June. But a source told Entertainment Wise that the two never really broke up.

An Entertainment Wise insider said that the "Roar" singer felt that she and 35-year old DJ were "moving too fast." The singer then called off the relationship a month after they allegedly began dating.

"It was too much too, too soon," the source said.

Talks about Katy Perry dating Diplo eventually died down with recent reports that the "Roar" singer was dating Florence and The Machine guitarist Dan Ackroyd. The two were allegedly seen making out in the backstage of the "Roar" singer's Prismatic tour in London.

But a source said to Heat magazine that 27-year-old Katy Perry is dating Diplo because they "never split up, as they weren't really together."

The source added, "They've been carrying on their fling in secret for at least four months."

News that Katy Perry dating Diplo resurfaced when the two reportedly enjoyed a holiday in Jamaica earlier this month as both posted photos in their individual social media accounts.

But Diplo quickly deleted the picture he posted when fans discovered that they were together.

Fashion & Style noted that Diplo's action seemed to protect his relationship with the "Roar" singer.

"It's possible it was a coincidence, but we doubt Diplo would go so far as to erase the photo from his feed if it wasn't to try to keep his vacation with Perry out of the public eye," Fashion & Style said.

Though the "Roar" singer seemed to be enjoying Diplo's company, Katy Perry is keeping it cool as she also opens her doors to other men.

Recently, "Twilight" actor Robert Pattinson and Katy Perry  were spotted being intimate at the star's after party for his new movie "The Rover.
