According to reports of JapNation AniManga, J-Stars Victory Vs is going to become a movie and that TOEI is looking into collaborating with all the different production studios in charge of producing each anime of the show to bring forth the movie. There will be some changes to storyline though as the main character will be created for the movie itself and that character would be the bridge between the different anime characters.

Aside from the news regarding the supposed movie adaptation, there have been some news regarding the J-Stars Victory Vs DLC.

Game news site Cyberland reported that the store "JapNation AniManga" revealed that a bunch of characters not included in launch of J-Stars Victory Vs would be added later on in the J-Stars Victory Vs DLC pack. Who are these characters?

According to the report, the much anticipated inclusion of Kinnikuman would be there as well as the addition of Zoro from One Piece, Light Yagami from Death Note, Gohan from Dragon Ball Z, Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh, Kakashi from Naruto and Sakuragi from Slam Dunk.

However it should be noted that stores usually don't confirm DLCs and it's usually the publisher that announces DLCs.

And to add from the list, the site Shonengamez.com reported that their sister site, Yare Yare Daze, has made an amazing discovery while looking through the files on the J-Stars Victory Versus ISO. Data for characters Jotaro Kujo and Dio from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Dai from Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibōken and Yoh Asakura from Shaman King has been found.
