Actor-comedian Lee Kwang Soo is widely known by the nickname "giraffe," which was given to him by the cast of "Running Man."

Now that he's participating in other acting projects, does he have plans of leaving the acclaimed Sunday variety program?

In an interview with news portal Newsen, he expressed, "Running Man is my family."

"There are people telling my try out new things, and I understand what they mean when they say that, but you can't just easily leave your family just because I'm not satisfied with something, or because have a new project lined up," he further explained.

He also said, "Running Man has become a part of me. I'm always happy when I'm filming, and I won't leave just because I have other projects."

Many were concerned that Lee's bright persona on the program might influence how the audience sees him when he is acting.

On this, he explained, "Some viewers think my bright personality is fake or different, but I don't mind it as long as the cast know who I really am. I can't please everyone, but I believe that if I act sincerely, people will take notice of this sincerity," he concluded.

Lee Kwang Soo is currently promoting his film "Good Friends" with Ji Sung and Joo Ji Hoon. The film will premiere on July 10.

Meanwhile, he is also part of the highly-anticipated SBS drama "It's Okay, It's Love" starring Jo In Sung and Gong Hyo Jin. The drama is schedules to air on July 23.
