'Wreck-It Ralph 2' Release Date, Cast And Plot Rumors [SPOILER ALERT]: New Disney Movie Slated For A 2015 Showing? Sequel To Feature Mario!

New reports have confirmed that "Wreck-It Ralph 2" is definitely happening.  The web is now busy speculating the sequel's release date, cast and plot rumors.

According to Screen Rant, Director Rich Moore and the studio who created the animation have already begun tossing around ideas for the second movie just after "Wreck-It Ralph" debuted on the big screen in 2012.

In another interview with Moviehole, John C. Reilly (who voices Ralph) and Sarah Silverman (who voices Vanellope von Schweetz) have confirmed that "Wreck-It Ralph 2" is on the way.

"They wouldn't make [all that] merchandise, if [Disney] didn't have plans for other [Wreck-it Ralph] stories," Reilly jokingly shared.

While Moore had this to say:

"At dinner last night we were already talking about [a 'Wreck-It Ralph' sequel]. So we're talking 'what could do they do? What kind of things could happen? Who could be in it?'"

Of course fans are lobbying for their favorite Mario to be included in the next movie.  Just like how Sonic the Hedgehog, Zangief and Bowser made it to first film, fans are already expecting Mario to play a major (or even a cameo) role in "Wreck-It Ralph 2."

And this certainly has been considered by Moore.  In his Moviehole interview, Moore mentioned that they weren't able to include the video game superstar in "Wreck-It Ralph" because he "couldn't find anywhere for him to go."  This was contrary to the popular belief that Nintendo refused them the rights to use the character.

There has been no official confirmation on "Wreck-It Ralph 2" release date, but it sure looks like that the sequel would definitely be a go.  Fans are speculating a 2015 release date, but it would be impossible given there has been no news of filming yet.
