Potential "House of Cards" season 3 spoilers revealed that Claire Underwood could have Frank Underwood killed not out of spite but out of love. Meanwhile, writers of the show hinted that blood will spill again once the series resumes.

The website Bustle revealed potential "House of Cards" season 3 spoilers based on the ending of the British show "Final Cut," which has become the basis of the Netflix series. In the British show, the protagonist Frank was trying to resolve a foreign row in Cyprus while also trying to control the oil deposits of the country.

"It's not hard to imagine that the American version will find a way to update this plot to one more relevant to our country's current political climate - but it would be surprising if it didn't tackle a similar story, since it results in a climactic twist that brings Urquhart's reign to a thrilling conclusion," the website said.

In order not to tarnish Frank's legacy, his wife Elizabeth had him killed instead. According to Bustle, it's not hard to picture out Claire Underwood making the same cold-hearted decision to protect Frank Underwood's legacy as president.

Meanwhile, production teased to kickstart the filming of the show "And the butchery begins," then later, "Remove hope from the equation," which could either mean that Frank Underwood will be stained with blood once more, or the Bustle "House of Cards" season 3 spoilers may ring true.

Three days ago, the "House of Cards" season 3 cast and crew were stranded by a storm warning while filming episodes for the political drama on Netflix, as the expected release date of February 2015 seems to be in the cards.

Creator Beau Willimon tweeted an image of the "House of Cards" season 3 cast and crew huddling together amid the green screen background. He also captioned the image: "Tornado warning in MD. Entire cast & crew of @HouseofCards gathered in green-screen room for safety. Wish us luck!"
