Fast And Furious 7: Dwayne Johnson Says Goodbye To The Film Franchise! Will Lucas Black, Vin Diesel, and Kurt Russell Return For The Next Sequel?

After the producers and even some of the cast members confirmed that they have finished filming the "Fast and Furious 7", many people are now wondering if the film franchise will continue doing more movies in the future.

The untimely death of Paul Walker has greatly affected the whole cast and crew. Losing one of the lead stars of the movie is quite difficult especially for his co-stars since he is like part of their family. One actor who got affected by Paul Walker's death is Dwayne Johnson, who stars as Luke Hobbs. The Rock's character appeared in "Fast Five", "Fast and Furious 6", and "Fast and Furious 7".

However, the seventh installment may be Dwayne's last movie for the film franchise. During an interview with the Toronto Sun, the 42-year old actor was asked if he would return in "Fast and Furious 8". The "Hercules" star hesitantly said, "I don't know."

Dwayne also shared, "I was very happy with the way Fast & Furious 7 was completed. I think Paul would have wanted that. In fact, I know Paul would have wanted that." He added, "When something like that happens, it's a harsh reminder of how fortunate we are, and it makes you hug your loved ones harder. I think this installment is going to be a special one - for a lot of reasons, but especially in the wake of Paul's death."

The Rock also talked about Luke Hobbs, "The character I played allowed me to go in and get the job done, hunt people down and step out." Since Dwayne Johnson has showed some disinterest in doing another "Fast and Furious" movie, would Vin Diesel return?

According to Deadline, the 47-year old actor has already started talking up "Fast and Furious 8" with the involvement of Kurt Russell. Portland Press Herald recently reported that the veteran actor finished his final scenes for the "Fast and Furious 7" with Paul Walker's brothers Cody and Caleb.

So who else will be returning for "Fast and Furious 8"? Lucas Black who starred as Sean Boswell may also be back for the eight installment. Deadline reported that the 31-year old actor will return for at least two more series installments.
