Attack On Titan Season 2: Sad News But July 26 Premiere Will Not Happen; LatinTimes Has Announced That The Release Date Is False

Sadly, Attack On Titan Season 2 release date this  month will not happen.

Earlier reports about Attack On Titan Season 2 suggested that the hit anime will premiere on July 26. 2014.

On the previous post of KdramaStars last July 11, it featured the sources of the said news. LatinTimes post was one of the sources that mentioned the release date of season 2.

But on July 21, 2014, a follow-up report about the Attack On Titan Season 2 from same source and same writer stated that the July 26 release date is again not true.

If you will read the link provided above, the author named Danny Choy mentioned that July 26 was confirmed by JapNation AniManga.

But for their follow up report on July 21, Danny said that Season 2 will not be released on July 26.

The exact statement:

"We are deeply sorry. Earlier this month, we learned JapNation AniManga confirmed that the "Attack On Titan" Season 2 release date is July 26, 2014. Finally, after endless months of anticipation, we were eager to have "Attack On Titan" return this summer. Unfortunately, we were led on. The "Attack On Titan" Season 2 premiere will not be released this month."

This news was also featured by iDigitalTimes (check out their post here). However, they said that "Attack on Titan" Part 2 has a release date on Blu-Ray and DVD, and it's September 23, 2014." but the Season 2 won't come out until next year."

The previous post from Kdramastars also mentioned that there is a live-action film for AOT. The production team for this film is targeting 2015 for the premiere of this live-action adaptation according to Geektyrant.

According to the same source (you can check their official website here for more information), Eren Yager will be played by singer and actor Haruma Miura who was  also starred in the film adaptation of the Manga Gokusen.
