The April Fool's prank about Attack On Titan Season 2 by Otaku House has created a fire and seems to be a buzz.

Such websites have announced the release date of Season 2 but soon said it was not true (one of them is KDramastars). Despite this sad news about the release of season 2, the live-action film of AOT is something to look forward.

On May 18, 2014, Crunchy Roll said that the live-action project of AOT was first revealed before the anime and film's release is slated for 2014.

But before the formal announcement as to who will play as Eren Yager, Crunchy Roll posted suggested casts for the live-action film. Who are they? Take a look at this picture....

AnimeNewsNetwork reported that Haruma Miura will be the one to play as Eren Yager. He also starred in Gokusen 3, Bloody Monday, Crows Zero II, and Kimi ni Todoke.

The who will play Mikasa? According to Movie Pilot, Maki Horikita got this role and Shôta Matsuda will play Levi.

GeekyRant said that the live-action film will incorporate new ideas. So it means, there will be differences from the anime.

If you are wondering where are the locations of shooting, the producers and the rest of the crew headed to Hashima Island in Nagasaki Prefecture or Gankanjima.

According to history, the island was originally the site of a coal mine and company town (Check the source here: https://goo.gl/RewaIh). The mine was closed in the 1970s, families relocated to mainland Japan and the island became a ghost town.
