Johnny Depp will reprise Captain Jack Sparrow role in the "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales," as the actor is still busy filming "Black Mass" biopic, according to Boston.com.

Walt Disney Pictures set the "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" premiere in summer 2015, but due to script conflicts, the movie's debut was moved on 2017.

"Like audiences around the globe, we have high expectations for Jack Sparrow's next adventure and we want to have all the right elements in place. We're not there yet and we want to make sure this project is everything these wonderful characters and of course the fans deserve," Disney production president Sean Bailey said last year when the movie was reportedly postponed for a 2015 release.

Johnny Depp's Captain Jack Sparrow will get new adventures, and no monsters this time, as the script will be written by Jeff Nathanson, who is famous for his works in "Catch Me If You Can," "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" and "The Terminal" among many others.

Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg will be directing the movie. Jerry Bruckheimer who was also the executive producer of previously released Pirates movies, will be heading the executive production, E! Online reported.

Story plot for "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" has not been disclosed yet.

Johnny Depp starred as Captain Jack Sparrow in four "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies, namely "The Curse of the Black Pearl," "Dead Man's Chest," "At World's End," and "On Stranger Tides." All four movies grossed a combined $3.7 billion in box office.

As Captain Jack Sparrow is not yet sailing for a new Pirates movie, the lead actor behind it, Johnny Depp is currently busy wrapping up a book-based biopic titled "Black Mass." According to IMDb, the biopic will tell the true story of Whitley Bulger, the most violent criminal in the history of South Boston who became an FBI informant who will help dismantle a South Boston mafia.

Johnny Depp's Captain Jack Sparrow and "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" will be seen on July 7, 2017 while "Black Mass" is scheduled on September 18 in the United States.
