Daniel Radcliffe Girlfriend: Is The 'What If' Star Engaged To Erin Darke? Spills On Onscreen Nudity And How He Lost His Virginity

Daniel Radcliffe turns 25!

After a decade of being "Harry Potter," Daniel Radcliffe is finally carving a manlier-if not the total opposite of his "Boy Who Lived"-image in the film industry.

He has been creating a name for his name on the Broadway stage as well as taking up more mature characters for new movies. He was a widowed lawyer in "The Woman In Black," had a gay scene in "Kill Your Darlings," and even sported devil horns in the upcoming thriller "Horns."

Now that the actor has imprinted his worth in the film (and Broadway) industry, Elle asked the birthday boy about his personal future, including his rumored upcoming marriage with his girlfriend Erin Darke, onscreen nudity and well, sex.

When asked about his engagement rumors with his girlfriend, the former child star denied the hearsay.

"I sort of go back and forth on it," Radcliffe said about marriage in general. "It seems like the most romantic thing you can do is stand up in front of all your friends and say that you love this person."

He adds, "It's obviously become ingrained in me. But there's something fantastic about that. At the same time, the amount of stress that goes with a wedding.... I don't know. I do think of it as being in my future at some point."

The British also spilled the beans on how he lost his virginity, revealing that he was actually one of a few who actually enjoyed their first time.

"It was with somebody I'd gotten to know well," he told Elle. "I'm happy to say I've had a lot better sex since then, but it wasn't as horrendously embarrassing as a lot of other people's were-like my friend who got drunk and did it with a stranger under a bridge."

The actor also revealed that he liked sex better when sober. He had previously admitted to having an alcohol problem while filming for Harry Potter.

The "What If" star also admitted to be more comfortable with appearing nude on stage and onscreen now than in the past. He had shed his clothes for "Equus" when he was just 17. He also went skinny dipping in the new movie with Zoe Kazan.

He explains, "There's something to be said for getting naked onstage when you're 17. I was f****ng terrified then."

He also added about girls who saw "Equus," "I went out with quite a few girls at that time. I would normally follow that up with, "Oh, cool, you've seen me naked."

"What If," starring Radcliffe, Zoe Kazan, and Adam Driver hits theaters on August 1.
