Raise ‘Em Up Tour

Keith Urban's Raise 'Em Up Tour in Mansfield, Massachusetts sent several concertgoers to the hospital after it was learned that a number of people who attended the concert fell ill due to alcohol-related issues.

Almost a hundred people were involved in the incident, with 50 people arrested for unspecified reasons while 46 more were treated for alcohol-related illnesses, during Keith Urban's Raise 'Em Up Tour. According to the report, 22 of the attendees were transported to nearby hospitals including a 16-year-old who was reportedly unconscious and unresponsive due to an injury. The teen was eventually transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro for treatment.

The Attleboro Sun Chronicle reported that the fire department of the concert venue (Xfinity Center) has called ambulances from six towns (Mansfield, Norton, Foxboro, North Attleboro, Plainville and Easton) to attend to the "mass casualty incident at the concert venue, which usually indicates a large number of people with potential illnesses or injuries."

Live Nation, the owner of the Xfinity Center has released a statement after the incident: "Last night we hosted more than 18,000 country music fans in Mansfield. Our team works hard to offer a great concert experience for fans and an overwhelming majority of fans enjoyed the concert, there were approximately 20 people that were transported to the local hospital mostly with non-serious, alcohol-related symptoms."

It is not clear if the Australian-born country singer is aware of the incident, Contact Music reported, although the country crooner tweeted that very night about the Mansfield, Massachusetts concert: "What a great night tonight. It was killer. Gosh, up on the lawn tonight, that was nutso. It was so cool," the Australian heartthrob told his fans. "Anyway, if you came tonight, thank you very much for giving us all the love and energy. Boston Strong, I love you. Night-night."

Meanwhile, Keith Urban's Raise 'Em Up Tour continues on the road as he hits Cincinnati, Ohio on July 31st. The "You'll Think Of Me" singer is also arranged to return for a new season of "American Idol" later this year together with Jennifer Lopez, and Harry Connick Jr. The show is still hosted by Ryan Seacrest.
