Diego Maradona Hits Rock Bottom With Ex- Girlfriend, 'He Set Me Up!' She Said As She Got Arrested For Theft

Diego Maradona may have been a football legend, but it seems as if his personal life can never be peaceful.

His ex- girlfriend, Rocio Oliva, has recently been arrested last week because Maradona accused her of stealing tens and thousands of dollars' worth of designer watches, and diamond earrings.

However, a crying 22- year- old Oliva has said, "Maradona set me up. He knows I didn't take anything from him," 

She also said that Maradona is hitting her.

The ex- woman footballer has been arrested by the police in Buenos Aires, at the Ezeiza airport, but the alleged theft happened in Maradona's Dubai mansion in a palm- shaped man- made island called Palm Jumeirah. The warrant of arrest came from the United Arab Emirates, moreover.

The two actually got engaged earlier this year in February, amid the public reports that Maradona has impregnated another woman, whom he has been with before Oliva.

However, the two were spotted just last month in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Rumors said that the two are trying to fix their relationship.

But now, the crash happened.

"If she returns my things, the problem's over," Maradona told TV program Intrusos.

"She may be arrested anywhere. We have asked for an international arrest warrant. The prosecutor should pass the order on to Interpol," Matias Morla, Maradona's attorney told an American TV show, before Oliva got arrested.

"Oliva is going to have to go to the United Arab Emirates and explain how the things were taken," the attorney added.

"All I want is to get my things back. I want all the watches that are missing, and all the real diamond earrings that disappeared from my house returned to where they belong," said the once international football sensation and Golden Ball winner.
