[Rumor] Emma Stone To Return In ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 3’ As Mary Jane Watson

After Sony has announced that "The Amazing Spider-Man 3" will hit the big screen in 2018 and that "The Sinister Six" will take its original release date in 2016, rumor is spreading now that Emma Stone will return in the third installment.

It makes sense that the actress can return to the movie trilogy portraying a different character, which is this time the love interest and future wife of Peter Parker, Mary Jane Watson or MJ, considering that Andrew Garfield would love to work with her again. So, we hope that viewers will not get confused in case she is really the choice to play as MJ. It will be ironic that, this time, she would be thought of as Gwen Stacy when in the first installment many got confused if she was Mary Jane Watson.

Andrew Garfield will again reprise his role as our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man and Peter Parker in the third installment. Perhaps, the production assumes that the Andrew-Garfield-and-Shailene-Woodley (or with other actresses) would not click, so they prefer to stick to the real-life couple tandem.

In case Stone will be back, it could be an odd choice of casting; however, it is also interesting to see an actress portraying two different characters in the same film franchise. It could be more challenging for her; what do you think?

Sony still has no official words on the final cast of "The Amazing Spider-Man 3", particularly if actress Emma Stone will be back to work with Andrew Garfield. This means that the movie fans have to wait for the formal announcement to finally know who are the actors and actresses to complete the cast of the movie.

While fans are waiting for the release of the third installment, Sony will bring "The Amazing Spider-Man" spinoff "The Sinister Six" in November 2016. The super villain film might have the Marvel characters Doctor Octopus, Vulture, Kraven the Hunter, and the Green Goblin as members of the Sinister Six. Either Chameleon or Mysterio, or maybe both, will join the anti-hero team in the said movie.

The character of Spider-Man is rumored to appear in the spinoff, so his fans will still see him in 2016; however, it is also not clear if Andrew Garfield will take the role.
