Rebecca Romijn Mystique body paint expertise is featured in GSN's first-ever body painting competition show, "Skin Wars."

Rebecca Romijn Mystique has had her own share of being painted from her head to her toes when she was the first model to be painted for the swimsuit issue of Sports Illustrated. Rebecca Romijn Mystique had to endure an exhausting total of eight hours of make-up every single day just so she could be transformed into Mystique, as featured in "X-Men."

Rebecca Romijn Mystique informed FOX411, "You sort of have to go to a Zen place. You have to get into some fairly awkward positions to help out the person who's painting you."

Since she had to portray the role of a shape-shifting mutant, Rebecca Romijn Mystique had to be fully covered in lots of layers of blue body paint. According to her statement, she was oftentimes brought in at midnight so that the team can start the painting process. They had to start at this time so that Rebecca Romijn Mystique could make it to the set by 9 a.m.

As a side effect of having all that blue paint all over her body, Rebecca Romijn Mystique said that she left a blue trail wherever she went. She said, "Blue paint on everything, including every time I had to go use the loo, blue toilet seats. Everybody knew when I had to go use the bathroom because there was a blue toilet seat."

There were reports that stated that Jennifer Lawrence, the amazingly talented actress who was selected for Mystique in the latest "X-Men" film, requested to wear a body suit since the body paint irritated her skin. Rebecca Romijn Mystique commented on this and said, "Not that Jennifer Lawrence didn't do a great job, she's phenomenal. I love sharing that role with that girl. She's as cool as they come, but I do think nine hours of make-up makes you the villain you need to be to be Mystique."
