Recently, Zack Snyder called into "The Ticket," a 97.1 Detroit radio show, to defend the making of the Aquaman movie.

During the phone interview, the director was heading to the set of "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice."

Snyder began the interview with, "You guys were disparaging, a little bit, Aquaman..."

The movie maker even went as far as saying that Aquaman could possibly take down Superman.

"There's some question as to his abilities... does he talk to fish or whatever? I think the cool thing is, with Aquaman, his trident could actually cut the flesh of Superman if they came in contact. He's super strong, he exists at these crazy depths so when he comes up here... anyway, I'm not saying he's in my movie or anything... but he has the potential to be a badass!" he said.

So who is up for the role of Aquaman? Rumor has it that "Game of Thrones" star Jason Momoa has been picked for the role. However, Warner Bros nor Snyder have yet to confirm that information.
