If you're inviting royalty to your wedding, you'd better make sure it's to have one great party in store. According to Vanity Fair, this is exactly what is expected at what will undoubtedly be, the most talked about social event this September.

Prince William And Kate Middleton have been invited to a special wedding -- that of their good friend, Charlie Gilke's, which will be held in romantic Italy. Even Prince Harry will be in attendance, whom we all know loves a good proper party.

We can just imagine the food, the fashion, the partying, and all the VIPs in attendance at this event. But for now, all the details are being kept under wraps. All we know is that the groom is a friend of Prince William from his days at Eton College.

Gilkes has since been known as the showrunner of various restaurants, and nightclubs including the popular Mr. Foggs and Bunga Bunga in London. Now that is one guy who knows how to throw a happening shindig.

His fiancee is PR maven Anneke von Trotha Taylor. Gilke reportedly proposed to his girlfriend of three years through a note inserted inside a specially made fortune cookie, while they were on a holiday at the a five star hotel, the Torre Maizza in Puglia Italy just last month.

And proving that it is indeed, a small world after all, Gilkes is actually the former boyfriend of Pippa Middleton, the duchess' sister, and the bridesmaid at Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding.

"The [Cambridges] are really looking forward to it and William and Kate are planning to leave Prince George with Kate's parents so they can go and have a good time," says an insider.

Stay tuned for news and details of the wedding that  Prince William and Kate Middleton will be attending this September. We'll keep you posted.
