Johnny Manziel vs Brian Orakpo Beef: Cleveland Quarterback Manziel Gives Redskins Bench The Finger; Redskins Player Orakpo Finds The Flipping Off Amusing

Nobody likes to lose, but in sports, players have to take losing in stride. But put a rookie player in the big leagues, have him lose, and have the opposing team jeer at him, and you have the recipe for a fight.  And that's exactly what happened in the NFL recently and we now have a Johnny Manziel vs Brian Orakpo beef. Brian Orakpo, of the Washington Redskins was the one who apparently started jeering at rookie Johnny Manziel of the Cleveland Browns.

The Browns had just lost to the Redskins, 24-23, and Manziel, the quarterback was forced out of bounds in the third quarter. This was when the Washington Redskins, led by Orakpo started yelling jibes at Manziel. Manziel then responded by flipping  a finger at the Redskins bench. This was the cause of the now infamous Johnny Manziel vs Brian Orakpo beef.

To his credit, Manziel has said that he should not have given in to his emotion and responded the way he did. "I get words exchanged with me throughout the entirety of the game every game, week after week," Manziel said. "Should have been smarter, it was a Monday Night Football game ... just need to be smarter about that."

On the other hand, the instigator of the whole thing found everything to be quite amusing. "It was hilarious," Orakpo, said. "We were messing with him a little bit, just saying this ain't college and stuff like that. We were having a little fun. Manziel flipped us off. It was something funny. We were all laughing on the sidelines."

For his part, the Cleveland Browns head coach is not happy with the actions of his quarterback. Coach Mike Pettine said, "I was informed of it after the game and it's disappointing," Pettine said during the postgame news conference. "That's what we talk about, is being poised and being focused. You have to be able to maintain your poise. All football players, especially the quarterback, we have to keep our compsure, so it's something that we'll obviously address."

The NFL isn't happy about the whole Johnny Manziel vs Brian Orakpo beef. But it looks like the Cleveland quarterback will be getting the brunt of it. According to NFL Media source, Ian Rapoport, Manziel might be fined as much as $11,025 for his unsportsmanlike behavior.
