Suge Knight Shot

It was suppose to be a fun event right before one of the most much awaited nights in the music industry. Singer Chris Brown was hosting a pre-Video Music Awards party when shots were fired early Sunday morning right inside the venue in West Hollwywood . According to TMZ, Suge Knight was shot six times and was immediately taken to the hospital. Suge Knight is the co-founder of Death Row Records.

According to Us Weekly, the events folded in the following manner: At about 1:30 am, two shots were fired inside the 1Oak club in West Hollywood. Party Host Chris Brown and many other guests were fled the scene. According to the source of Us Weekly, "People were screaming and yelling and ran out immediately. The floor was covered with glass from everyone dropping their drinks.

Then at 1:50 am, the police entered the club and made everyone who was still inside leave the premises. Chris Brown posted a statement of the incident on Twitter hours after the incident, saying."It's disappointing that we as a society can't have fun or enjoy ourselves without any altercations sometimes.  Miss me with the bullshit!!!"

Suge Knight was shot along with two other people. Although the recording executive was the one who was shot six times, one of the other victims is the one in critical condition. Knight was shot in the stomach and arm, and was even able to walk out of the club on his own.

Suge's family has already released a statement regarding the shooting to Revolt: ""The family of Suge Knight ask that you keep Suge in your prayers and to stray away from the negativity portrayed by the media. Suge is currently resting and has lost a lot of blood, he's human. He's done a lot of things for the community and the culture as a whole so we ask that you  respect that."

It's not the first time that Suge Knight was shot. Back in 2005, at a pre-VMA party, this time hosted by rapper Kanye West, he was shot in the leg when a gunman opened fire in the Shore Club hotel in Miami. And back in 1996, Suge Knight was the one in the driver's seat next to Tupac Shakur, when the iconic rapper was killed by gunshot. Suge Knight was also shot at that time.

But according to The Hollywood Life, it was Chris Brown who was the target of the shooting.Witnesses have reported that Rihanna's ex boyfriend was the one who was being shot at, but it was Suge Knight who was hit.
