The Maleficent star has jetted off to France to spend some quality time with her family. Angelina Jolie was spotted as she left a private jet at the Nice airport. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were then joined by the rest of their brood, for a nice summer vacation in their home in Miraval.
The 39-year old actress had been busy the past couple of months directing her second full length feature film, a biopic on the life of Olympian and World War II hero Louis Zamperini. Unfortunately, Louis Zamperini passed away at 93-years old before the film's premiere this December.
But Angelina Jolie recently told Entertainment Weekly that she in fact, had the chance to show Zamperini a version of the movie before he passed. " "I brought it on my laptop to the hospital," the actress said. "It was a deeply moving, very profound few hours of my life. Telling his story is a giant responsibility." Both Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been quite busy filming their respective movies.
Pitt was until recently busy filming the World War II movie Fury.
But right now the Jolie-Pitt family are all on vacation mode with their kids. Both Angelina Jolie and Bard Pitt wore comfortable, casual outfits spotted as they left their private jet. Angeline wore black pants and a loose-fitting white top with red framed sunglasses. Meanwhile Brad wore a grey shirt with a fedora hat. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's children were also spotted leaving the jet, with their small luggages in tow.
The couple are expected to star in their first movie together since Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The upcoming Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt starrer By The Sea has been described as an intimate, character driven drama. "We have been shy of it for quite a few years because it's very heavy, about a relationship, people going through and surviving a lot together," Jolie says. "It's not easy. So we were nervous about being able to handle the material as actors and to take it on together."
