'The Moon That Embraces The Sun' Last Two Episodes To Be Cancelled - Special Episodes Created
The last two episodes of MBC's 'The Moon That Embraces The Sun' are to be delayed.
MBC announced this delay with supporting resources. Special episodes will be aired on the 7th and 8th that were originally the dates for the 19th and 20th episodes.
Leaving the viewers curious about the ending, the staff members and Kim Do Hoon Producer are joining the general strike with MBC's workers union from March 6th.
On Jan 30, the strike started with the demand for CEO Kim Jae Chul's resignation and recovery of public broadcasting. This caused news and entertainment programs to cancel broadcasting for over a month but drama programs have continued to work due to the difficulty recovering after going on strike. However as more broadcasting professionals resigned and the hard-line policy was sued, drama producers had an emergency meeting on the 5th to join the strike.
Not only Kim Do Hoon PD joined but also Kim Jin Min PD, Kim Dae Jin PD, and Lee Dong Yoon PD all have joined only leaving 'Light and Shadow' the only MBC drama to be aired on schedule.
Kim Do Hoon PD tweeted, "Although I know it's difficult, I just want the truth to prevail through my actions. I put a lot of thought into this so please be patient. I will not forget about my responsibilities.
