You might imagine the chance to kiss an attractive k-drama star would be part of your dream job. But filming kisses can be hard work. Capturing that romantic gesture can be tedious, painful or embarrassing.

For a start a kiss scene can take a long time to film. Any excitement you may originally have felt at locking lips diminishes as the hours tick by.

For example, when 2PM's Taecyeon filmed a kiss scene with Suzy Bae for "Dream High," it took eight hours to film.

"When I filmed that scene with Suzy, it was my first kiss scene so I worried how I should go about it," said Taecyeon on the TV program "Taxi." "We ended up filming that kiss scene for close to eight hours."

As the scene was filmed in a Ferris wheel, the camera crew had to shoot it from several angles so Taecyeon and Suzy kept kissing.

"You can hardly see us," added Taecyeon, "but we still kept kissing anyway."

Nice work if you can get it, even with the long hours? Not always as some k-drama kisses can go terribly wrong. When Jung Il Woo kissed Lee Chung Ah in "Flower Boy Ramen Shop," he got a little carried away.

They were filming a scene in which his character finally realizes his feelings for her. He took off his motorcycle helmet and pulled her to him, then kissed her so hard that his teeth cut her lip.

"I started seeing stars during that kiss scene," said Lee Chung Ah. "I could taste the blood but because the cameras were rolling, I didn't stop filming. After we stopped, I saw that I was bleeding."

And kiss scenes can be embarrassing if your kissing partner has more experience.

When Joo Won discussed his kissing scenes with his co-star Choi Kang Hee for "Level 7 Civil Servant," he asked her what to do. She told him to improvise.

And what if the person you kiss is someone you previously had a fan girl crush on. It happens although stars don't like to admit it. And what if your kissing a famous person means you have to deal with upset fans?

When Shin Se Kyung was asked about the romantic scenes in "Tazza 2" with her Big Bang's T.O.P., she praised his acting skills. But fans wanted to know about the kiss scenes. What was it like kissing an idol? After all, he was a member of the hottest boy band in Korea. Did she worry about repercussions?

She thought for a minute and then said with some irony, "Oh no, why did I do it? I didn't think about that at all. I guess that's true. I probably won't be able to sleep tonight."

But she assured reporters that the kiss scene was all business.

"I think the fans will understand by seeing me as a character in the movie," she said.
