Watch ‘How I Met Your Mother’ Alternate Ending Leaked Video: Ted Does The ‘Stupidest, Most Impossible Thing In The World’ For A Happy Finale

The recently leaked 'How I Met Your Mother' alternate ending has been causing so much hype lately, perhaps indicating how millions of fans across the globe are still dying to recover from its official finale.

Months ago, HIMYM co-creator Carter Bays tweeted "If you didn't like the finale, I guess that happens. We tried something and it didn't connect with you. I hope we're still friends."

To soften the blow of fans' outrage towards the ending, Bays revealed that HIMYM has two different endings, which will be included in the How I Met Your Mother: The Whole Story, Seasons 1-9 DVD Set.

"We chose the ending we chose and we stand by it. But we loved the other version too," Bays tweeted last April 5.

We didn't see any blue French horn in the alternate ending, no Robin affair, and no shadowy death; only Ted and Tracy reminiscing about the roller coaster ride of their lives providing more closure and butterflies in our stomach.

Ted does the 'stupidest, most impossible thing in the world': goes up to Tracy (the mother) and talk to her. The narration goes:" Funny how sometimes, you just find things"

After showing the adorable couple meeting at the train station, he says:

"And that kids, was how I met your mother."
