‘Happy Ending’ So Yoo Jin Reveals Drama’s Behind Story
On the 20th, JTBC’s new drama ‘Happy Ending’ held its press conference at Seoul’s Imperial Palace Hotel.
At the conference, So Yoo Jin revealed something interesting that happened with Choi Min Soo.
She said, “I got hit a lot…It was not in the script. Whenever he saw me, he would pick up a prop to hit me with.”
She continued on to state, “Even though there’s no scene in the script of a beating, when I read a scene where I argue with Dad (played by Choi Min Soo), I think ‘I’m going to get hit. What will I get hit with today.’ And then, as expected, something comes flying at me.”
But, “I feel like he does it out of love so I feel that it will be weird if I don’t get hit. It hurt at first but now I think of it as a love tap…When there’s a scene where I see my dad, I just think ‘I’m going to get hit,’ and enter the shooting with enthusiasm.”
‘Happy Ending’ is about a father who tries to reconnect with his family after finding out that he will die soon. The drama is said to be heartfelt as well as funny.
The first episode is scheduled to air on the 23rd.
