Sherri Shepherd latest news talks about her rating towards the new hosts of The View, the show she's formerly in. In an interview in New York City with Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Access Hollywood Live on Monday morning, Sherri did not give an A+ when asked what grade she's going to provide the new panellists, Rosie O'Donnell, Rosie Perez, Whoopi Goldberg and Nicolle Wallace, of the day time talk show.

"They're working some things out," Sherri  said. "I would give them a B. Because you have to be able to go somewhere [from there]."

According to Access Hollywood, Sherri admitted she regularly watches the show despite her emotional departure.

"I've been watching 'The View' every day. I love Hot Topics. I love Rosie Perez," Sherri told Billy and Kit. "I think everybody has got to figure out what they're doing and they've got to jive.

"It took me three years to get it together!" she added.

"You were live Tweeting during the second episode," Billy told Sherri in the interview, noting her posts about the new "The View."

"I know," she said. "I'm looking at the Hot Topics and I'm throwing out jokes [at home] and I'm like, 'Nobody hears me!' But that's how much I love it. And that's the thing - it gets so heated and you feel like you want to be a part of it," she described.

"But I did it for seven years and it was wonderful. Now it's on to bigger and better things," Sherri said.

Reportedly, Sherri has taken a new path in her career. According to Variety, the comedienne will star as the wicked Stepmother in Broadway's musical version of the "Cinderella" by Rodgers and Hammerstein.

Aside from jumping to Broadway, Sherri has several new projects that are in line. According to Deadline, she is joining the cast of Universal's Ride Along 2 to be directed by Tim Story. Shepherd has signed a role opposite Ice Cube and Kevin Hart.

The movie is a sequel of 2014's hit comedy Ride Along. The movie is set for release on January 15, 2016 produced by Ice Cube, Matt Alvarez, Will Packer, and Larry Brezner and exec producer Scott Bernstein. Shepherd will be joined by Ken Jeong and Olivia Munn in the movie.
