Amazing Spider-Man 3 Emma Stone Returns As Mary Jane Confirmed? Shailene Woodley No Longer The New Mary Jane As Venom Carnage Casting Rumors Clarified
Fans have been very positive about Emma Stone's performance in the Amazing Spider-Man series and it seems like the much anticipated Amazing Spider-Man 3 Emma Stone return could happen but with a twist as her return could possibly involve her being Mary Jane despite her being rumored for being the crazy killer Spider-Man villain, Carnage!
Rumors are spreading the Emma Stone would be back in the Amazing Spider-Man 3 as Mary Jane or be resurrected and become Carnage.
The recently announced Amazing Spider-Man spin off, Venom Carnage Movie could have Emma Stone's Gwen Stacy return from the dead as the villain Carnage.... as it was in the comicbooks
According reports ComicBook.com, Sony and the producersof the Venom Carnage Movie have plans on using the Ultimate version of Carnage, but also foreshadowed the outcome that having Gwen Stacy back as the symbiote villain will likely receive negative feedback from movie and comicbook fans.
Screenrant conducted an interview with Emma Stone before regarding her character's comeback in the Amazing Spider-Man movies.
"I don't know... is it? There could be a-I don't know, there's a whole plotline that could happen that may bring her back"
A blogger from Comicvine cited that if Amazing Spider-Man director Marc Webb decided on putting Gwen Stacy in future installments, he would have the Clone Saga or the Carnage Transformation storyline.
The blogger further adds that if they want the Ultimate version of Carnage in the Venom Spin off movie, they would suggest finding a character with the similar traits as Ultimate Gwen Stacy or have the original Carnage Cletus Cassidy in the movie.
In the Ultimate Marvel Universe, Gwen Stacy was killed by the rampaging Carnage symbiote as the creature absorbed her life force during their first encounter. In later issues, Peter Parker/Spider-Man was shocked to see Gwen alive and well, but with no memories of what happened to her before her death. It was revealed that it was in fact the Carnage symbiote itself who have taken the form of Gwen Stacy after the latter was killed and the creatures thinks that she is Gwen Stacy.
The Emma Stone returns as MJ in the Amazing Spider-Man 3 rumors haven't died down because there's a rumor going around that Andrew Garfield would prefer that he has his real-life girlfriend to be his onscreen girlfriend.
