It's not just only this year that the talk about Keanu Reeves' and Alex Winter's "Bill and Ted" will going to have its third sequel. This time, it's once again a talk of the town.

Reeves' co-star Winter confirms the sequel; however, the start of production and the release date are not yet as clear as crystal, but it is already in the works. He said that, as published at E!, "while the film won't be in theaters for a good while, what's coming down the pipeline is a quality product."

The awesome duo Bill and Ted "will be 40-something and it's all about Bill and Ted grown-up or not grown-up. It's really sweet and really f-king funny," Winter, who played the role of Bill or Bill S. Preston Esq. in the movie told Yahoo! Movies when asked about the sequel apart from his latest film "Grand Piano".

This goes to say that "Bill and Ted" won't be a reboot but really the third installment of the film, in which their lives after 23 years will be highlighted. Perhaps, this is what the movie fans would like to see in the film.

Actor and director Winter also revealed to Yahoo! Movies, "There's many versions of ourselves in this movie. [It's] answering the question: 'What happened to these guys?' They're supposed to have done all this stuff, they weren't the brightest bulbs on the tree, what happened 20 years later? To answer that question in a comedic way felt rich with possibility."

Last September 2013, Keanu Reeves, who played as Ted or Theodore Logan in the movie, told Josh Horowitz of MTV News at the Toronto International Film Festival that, "There [are] lots of subterfuge and conspiracy theories. There's a whole thing ... I might have to do one of those independent press, conspiracy, other-name kind of [statements] explaining why it hasn't happened yet, because it's pretty dark out there."

"There is [a script]. There's all sorts of stuff and it just can't - it's just - there's darkness out there that's keeping it from happening. It's that part of the story where it's looking grim. It's the dark period of the idea," he continued.

With Winter telling these things about the time-traveling buddy comedy film, we can assume that whatever that "darkness" that Keanu Reeves was telling to MTV News at that time, "Bill and Ted 3" is perhaps slowly getting the light it needs to finally hit the big screen for more awesome and excellent adventures.
