Jo Yeo Jung and Kim Kang Woo Cast In 'Haeundae Lovers'

Jo Yeo Jung and actress Kim Kang Woo will be casting for the KBS 2TV's new drama, 'Haeundae Lovers,' scheduled to be released in August.

Senior officials in KBS said, "The two individuals have not yet signed the contract, but it is getting finalized."

Last August, Jo casted in the drama 'I Need Romance 2012' on tvN, but this is the first time she will be taking a lead role.  As for Kim, his latest acting was shown in 'The Slingshot' on KBS 2TV back in June 2009. 

As Kim and Jo have recently gained popularity- Jo through the movie 'The Concubine' and Kim through 'Taste of Money'- the new drama 'Haeundae Lovers' is expected to appeal to a wide audience.

'Haeundae Lovers' is about an inspector who used to track down gangs who loses his memory and eventually finds himself in living amidst former gangs in Haeundae County. It is a romantic comedy taken live in Haeundae that combines drama, action, and love. Hwang Eun Kyung, the same writer for drama 'New Heart,' has written most of the script.

Publisher SSD has already contacted Haeundae County, Kyung-Sung University, and Dong-Suh University, and has signed the MOU. 'Haeundae Lovers' will be released in August as a follow-up to the drama, 'Big.'
