Dragon Age: Inquisition PC Graphics Downgraded To Meet The Consoles Versions Confirmed? Higher Resolution Textures, Better Character Models And More Scrapped In The PC Version Rumored

The Dragon Age: Inquisition PC graphics are allegedly going to be "downgraded" to match the graphical fidelity of the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game.

Even though Dragon Age: Inquisition is going to be on the Xbox One and PS4 along with the PS3 and Xbox 360, Bioware are looking to ensure that the experience of the user is the same, whatever platform they are playing on. Mike Laidlaw gave some insight into developer stance of gaming by saying that their hope is to create the same gameplay on all systems.

Laidlaw said that players would not have to be worried about the fact that they are playing an inferior game on their console. Thanks to the Frostbite engine 3 Bioware has been working on building the same game on the last gen console as they have on the Xbox One, the PC and the PS4.

Of course not all aspects of the game are going to be the same. Gameplay mechanics are going to remain the same but Laidlaw said that it is realistic to experience visuals that are better on the net gen consoles and PC compared to the PS3 and Xbox 360.

According to the reports of gaming news Cyberland, the Dragon Age: Inquisition PC graphics were downgraded not because of some conspiracy that BioWare wants to make thePS4 and Xbox One look good but the "downgrade" was due to production reasons.

Cyberland notes that the Dragon Age: Inquisition PC version was supposed to ship with higher resolution textures and better models compared to the PS4 and Xbox One versions. Those plans were scrapped however as the release date draws near and the game has to be rushed to meet the release date. The Dragon Age: Inquisition PC version is going to be shipped with lower resolution textures and models that are found in the PS4 and Xbox One versions.

Dragon Age: inquisition is going to come out on the Xbox 360, the Xbox One One, PS4, PS3 and the PC on October 7, 2014.
