After what seemed like a whirlwind romance and a fairytale wedding, it's now back to the real world for this barrister and her A-list actor husband. Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney had the world entranced for several days, with their romantic wedding in Venice, but now the two are getting back to work in their respective careers.
Amal Alamuddin was spotted and photographed while leaving the Hotel Grande Bretagne in Athens, Greece last October 13. The newly married international human rights lawyer was in the country with fellow lawyer Geoffrey Robertson, to meet with Prime Minister Antonis Samaras. The beautiful 36 year old was ready to hit the ground running in her law career after the fairytale wedding, and the first order of the day was to change her name on the website for the law firm for which she is a part of. She is now carrying the name Amal Clooney, and it is reflected in Doughty Street Chambers website. It is reported that the website's servers couldn't take the number of hits to their site since this news leaked, and reportedly crashed!
Meanwhile, her husband, Gravity actor George Clooney was also out and about promoting his movie projects. In fact, even during the Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney honeymoon, the actor flew to New York City for Comic-con. The actor emerged during the Comic-con panel for Disney's Tomorrowland, to the surprise and great pleasure of the attendees.
The movie's panel debuted the sci-fi film's much awaited trailer, which showed Frank, a disillusioned scientist played by Clooney, who meets a teenage girl named Casey (played by Britt Robertson), and they embark on a journey to get to a futuristic place called Tomorrowland. During the panel, Clooney was even able to joke that it was not lost on him that he was at Comic-con during what is technically still the Amal Alamuddin George Clooney honeymoon.
