Eva Mendes' baby is finally born, but hubby Ryan Gosling reportedly wants another one to follow.
Eva Mendes' baby to hubby Ryan Gosling has been kept under the covers for the longest time, and the couple has yet to make a public appearance with Esmeralda Amada Gosling since she was born.
Ryan Gosling goes back to the daily grind yesterday, on the Atlanta set of his new, upcoming movie "The Nice Guys." The actor co-stars with Russell Crowe, Kim Basinger, and Matt Bomer. This is his first project since Eva gave birth in September 12.
Eva Mendes' baby name is Esmeralda, born in Santa Monica, California, as indicated in a birth certificate obtained by TMZ.
An Us Magazine source confirms Gosling is all about the baby, that Ryan was "thrilled it's a little girl," and has never left Eva's side ever since the baby was born.
"Eva pretty exhausted and just rolled her eyes, but Ryan's so overjoyed at being a father and can't believe how beautiful their little girl is he says it would be a crime to not have more."
He even takes over mundane tasks as going out for groceries.
"[Eva's] been wanting pasta, and he's cooking her meals... Ryan has already stepped into the role of caring father."
OK Magazine reports Eva wants to settle down, now that she has a baby to care for. A source says she'd like to quit Hollywood altogether and tend to a family home in the country.
"It's been tough on her hiding away with so much attention on her, and she's turned into a fierce mama bear. She's so fed up with the fame game and couldn't think of anything worse than raising a child in LA."
In 2011 interview with the London Times, Gosling comments on starting a family, unaware that he'd eventually be fathering Eva Mendes' baby.
"I'd like to be making babies but I'm not, so I'm making movies. When someone comes along, I don't think I'll be able to do both and I'm fine with that. I'll make movies until I make babies." (eonline.com)
