In terms of design and display, the iPhone 5C was introduced back in September 2013, and it was the first “colored” iPhone in the market. The are 5 variants of colors which are available for this smartphone: blue, white, yellow, pink or green. Its display is IPS LCD measuring 4 inches and with a resolution of 640×1136pixels, with 326ppi. Its dimensions are 124.40×59.20×8.97 mm, and weighs 132 grams.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was also released in 2013 in the same month as the Apple smartphone, and it’s available in these variants of shades: Classic White, Jet Black and Blush Pink. The phablet has a 5.7 inches Super AMOLED display, with 16Mp colors, a resolution of 1080x1920pixels and 386ppi. Its dimensions are: 151.20×79.20×8.30 mm, and it weighs 168 grams, being 34 grams heavier than its competitor.

For hardware and OS, The iPhone 5C has a 1.3 GHz dual-core Apple A6 processor and it runs on the iOS 7 with 1GB of RAM. It comes in three variant of internal storage: 16/32/64GB, which aren’t expandable.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 comes in three variants: LTE N9005, 3G N9000 and Dual N9002. The N9005 and the N9002 variants are powered by a quad-core 2.3GHz Krait 400 processor with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset and the N9000 variant features a quad-core 1.9GHz Cortex-A15&quad-core 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and an Exynos 5 Octa 5420 chipset.

The phablet runs on the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS with 3GB of RAM and has 16/32/64 GB of internal storage. The first two variants are expandable up to 64GB.

For battery usage and camera spesc, the iPhone 5c has a non-removable battery with a capacity of 1507mAh, which last 10 hours when talking on 3G and 10.4 days in stand by mode, with 3G enabled.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on the other hands, has a battery with the capacity of 3200mAh, which gives users a talking time of 21 hours on 3G and it lasts 420 hours in stand by mode.

The Apple smartphone takes great pictures with an 8MP rear camera (3264x2448pixels) with LED flashlight and autofocus. The other camera on the phone is 1.2MP, while the Samsung pahblet has a rear camera of 13MP (4128x3096pixels), with features such as autofocus, LED flash, Dual Shot, face and smile detection, geo tagging, Simultaneous HD video and image recording, touch focus, image stabilization, HDR and panorama. Users can record 2160p@30fps and 1080p@60fps videos, while the other camera is at 2MP.
