After four years of avidly following the HBO series, fans have learned not to believe in the longevity of their favorite 'Game Of Thrones' cast member's life in the fantasy show. They can die or at the very least, face life-threatening moments at every turn.

That is why avid viewers of the successful series rejoiced with news of the stars' contract renewals. Granted that the new terms are for a potential appearance in the seventh season only, avid followers of the TV show are still happy for the unintended spoiler.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, five of the 'Game Of Thrones' cast have signed on for more seasons with the heftiest paycheck per episode. HBO had renewed 'Game Of Thrones' for seasons five and six last April.

Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) are reportedly considered A-tiered actors in the show.

Meanwhile, renegotiations for Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) as well as others put them in the second most important batch of actors for the series. Other characters have also been given raises albeit at a much lower rate than the A and B level actors mentioned earlier.

With the renegotiations already completed, does this mean that fans of Tyrion, Jon Snow, Daenerys, Cersei, Jaime, Arya, Sansa, and Margaery can rest assured that they won't be killed off in the upcoming fifth season?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, their renewals do not guarantee that the characters will stay until the very last season. There is still a huge possibility that they could get written off from the show.

George R.R. Martin, who wrote the fantasy series 'A Song Of Ice And Fire' where the award-winning series is based on, has yet to complete the entire book franchise. He could very well kill off fan favorites as he wishes.

'Game Of Thrones' is notorious for massacring the most likable characters, so it would not be a surprise if one or two of the main characters would suddenly be stabbed in his or her sleep.

Which 'Game Of Thrones' cast do you think should be kept alive until the very last season (or book)?
