Kim Myung Min, “Wife Gives Me an Allowance of 1,000,000 Won a Month”

Kim Myung Min is receiving a lot of attention for revealing that he lives off an allowance he receives from his wife.

Kim Myung Min commented happily during a celebration for his movie 'Deranged', "My wife, who is the CEO of my agengy, gives me an allowance of 1,000,000 won (Roughly about $1,000). She gave me her credit card for today's party. I'm happy because I feel like I'm rich."

Kim Myung Min initiated the party to celebrate the success of 'Deranged' in which he plays the lead role. His delight with the success of the movie has led him to offer to pay for the entire party himself. He was able to light up the party and bring about much laughter, especially through his confession about his monthly allowance.

He even further explained, "My allowance rose to 1,000,000 last year. I only received 500,000 won before that. I was able to raise it because of the success of 'Detective K: Secret of the Virtuous Widow' last year." He then expresses his hope that it will go up even more because of the success of 'Deranged'.

'Deranged' has currently reached over 4,470,000 viewers. He was able to erase the painful memory of his movie, 'Pacemaker', premiered in January 2012, which had failed in the box office.

The CEO of Ozone Films, the production company of 'Deranged', commented, "I believe that Kim Myung Min's appearance in the movie has undoubtedly helped it succeed in the box office...It has been a little while since the movie premiered, but it is still doing well. I predict that it will even reach over 5,000,000 viewers."
