Prior to the big announcement, Blake has already expressed that she wants to have daughters in the future. The reason?
“Because I have some amazing shoes and bags and stories that need to be appreciated!” Blake jokingly shared.
In another interview with Marie Claire magazine, Blake opened-up about her relationship with Ryan.
"We've never gone a week without seeing each other," she said.
"There's no major decision I make without him. The best part is when we turn off our phones and just talk and hang out. He's my best, best friend. What do you do with your best friend? You do nothing."

“They're going to be incredible. They're going to be really, really, really incredible. Blake's going to be more like the dad, and Ryan's going to be more like the mom. And that just means very emotional, and he's growing his hair out.”
Before the pregnancy, Star Magazine has published Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively pregnant divorce rumors saying that there has been "pushing" from Reynolds' end to get his wife pregnant.
"Ryan is getting quite impatient about it. You can't blame her for wanting to wait, because she's so young, but he's hell-bent on changing her mind," said a source.
"He's wanted to start a family for years."
