Manny Pacquiao news reveals "Pacman" continuously stressing the importance of the mega fight against Floyd Mayweather to happen right after his dominant victory over Chris Agieri on Saturday night. The eight-division world champion even urged "Money Mayweather" to "step up and say yes."

Pacquiao displayed his "vintage self" in front of the thousands in attendance at the CotaiArena in Macau, China, after outclassing former WBO light welterweight champion Chris Algieri. The Filipino boxing superstar appeared to be no match for Algieri, who scored six official knockdowns en route to a wide unanimous decision verdict, and successfully defending his WBO welterweight title.

In a report by Bloody Elbow, both Pacquiao and his promoter Bob Arum once again reiterated that the Floyd Mayweather mega bout should happen next year, especially now that both men are practically running out of quality opponents to face.

"Frankly, we're tired. I say, enough is enough, let's just make the fight happen." Arum said during the post-fight press conference. "Let's get it done as the next fight for each fighter some time in the first six months of next year. That's our position, and we are going to try to make it happen."

Manny Pacquiao news also reveals that the Pacquiao camp will be leaving the decision to the Mayweather team, as they have done their part to publicly declare their interest in making the fight happen.

All the nonsense has to cease, and everybody should be working together to make that fight happen," Arum said. "There's no excuses anymore. None!"

Manny Pacquiao news also reveals that for his part, the eight-division world champion urged his old on-paper rival to just step up and finally take the fight.

"The fans really deserve this fight. It's time to step up and say yes," Pacquiao said. "I want that fight early next year."
