Jung Eun Ji Takes Lead Role In Musical "Legally Blonde"
Jung Eun Ji received a lot of attention through the drama "Reply 1997". She will be attempting her first musical.
Production Company PMC announced that on November 16th, Jung Eun Ji will be playing the lead role of Elle Woods in the musical "Legally Blonde".
The Broadway musical opened in 2007 and was based off the 2001 film of the same name. The story is about a "sorority girl" named Elle Woods, a girl only cares about her looks, entering law school and finding her real self.
Jung Eun Ji was double casted with musical actress Choi Woo Ri as Elle Woods. Emmett is the intelligent and talented Harvard law student who will fall in love with Elle. His role will be played by the singer Tim and musical actor Jin Sun Gyu.
Elle's player ex-boyfriend Warner will be played by Kim San Ho and Kim Gyung Soo, while Jung Young Joo will play Paulette, Elle's best friend.
The musical premiered in 2009 in Korea under the name "Too Blonde", but this version of the musical will revert to its original name "Legally Blonde" and will feature newly edited songs and sets.
