Nicole Kidman Enjoys Red Carpet With Keith Urban; 'American Idol' Judge Gushes Over Wife At CMT Awards Speech

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban enjoyed the red carpet during the CMT Awards in Nashville, Tennessee. Meanwhile, the "American Idol" judge gushed over his wife in his speech as he accepted recognition for Best Musical Event of the Year.

The "Before I Go to Sleep" actress looked radiant in a little black dress that showed some sideboob, while the "We Were Us" singer opted for a black blazer and matching denims, said MailOnline.

In his speech, Keith Urban credited Nicole Kidman and their two daughters, Sunday and Faith, for their undying support.

"I have an amazing crew who take such good care of me ... none other than the person who takes care of me the most and I love the most in the world -- my wife, Nicole Mary. I'm so glad you're here tonight," he said.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have been hounded by divorce rumors in the past months, which the couple has belied since they are obviously still together and apparently happy.

"It all makes sense because you're in the world, baby. Everything I do has purpose and meaning now like it never ever has before," he added. "I think these things aren't happening by coincidence. There's just real meaning in why I do what I do, and it's all from you and our girls. I'm so glad you're here."

According to The Spec, Keith Urban joined Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line and Jason Aldean as recipients of the CMT Artist of the Year honor.

In an earlier interview with People magazine, Nicole Kidman revealed how she and Keith Urban keep their romance alive.

"I like lavender baths. It helps me to sleep. Keith and I have been known to take baths together, many times. It's so nice, we squeeze in!" she said.

The couple's marriage has been hounded with controversies and rumors. But the death of her father seemed to have brought them closer together. Besieged by rumors about the impending Nicole Kdiman and Keith Urban divorce, he nevertheless left a scheduled gig on September 7 to be with his wife.
