'Kickboxer' Remake Includes Van Damme And MMA Fighter Georges St-Pierre!

The 1989 flick "Kickboxer" will have its remake and it is slated in 2015!

In the 1989 movie version, "Street Fighter" actor played the role of Kurt Sloane, a character who must learn the ancient kick boxing art of Muay Thai in order to avenge his brother. But in this remake, Alain Moussi, who's known for the movie "Pacific Rim" will play the role of Kurt Sloane. So Jean-Claude Van Damme will play the role of Xian Chow.

The "Street Fighter" actor's role is a teacher who passes on the skills to the needy student.

Moviegoers have something to look forward to this movie as Georges St-Pierre, the former UFC welterweight champion will appear in this movie. Georges has shared his acting and martial arts skill in "Capt. America: Winter Soldier." He played the role of a villain of the superhero. This Marvel film garnered $714.1 million while its budget is $170 million. There will also be some cameo apperances of some credible international fighters. Canadian welterweight champion 'Bazooka' Joe Valtellini is confirmed joining the film.

Joe 'Stitch 'Em Up' Schilling, winner of the GLORY 10 LOS ANGELES Middleweight Championship Tournament will also appear in the film remake. He will face Artem Levin for the GLORY Middleweight Championship in 2015.
