According to a report from Perez Hilton, the 30-year-old American pop hit maker, who dated John Mayer, allegedly greeted her rumored beau Diplo on his birthday in a Twitter post.
The "This Is How We Do" singer posted "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" in her tweet with an emoji of a shrimp.
"Although it may not seem like much, we're guessing the shrimp has to do with one of Diplo's songs - specifically the So Many Shrimp jam!" the report said.
The report also noted that if news about "Roar" singer Katy Perry dating Diplo is not true, why would she not include his name in her tweet.
Katy Perry dating Diplo news has been going on for the past seven months but no confirmation was heard yet from the pop singer.
An insider told British magazine Grazia that at first, Katy Perry was "humiliated and mortified" upon hearing the news that her rumored beau is fathering a second child with his ex.
The 36-year-old DJ already has a son, Lockett, with his ex Kathryn Lockhart, The Daily Mail said in a report.
"She feels hurt that nobody mentioned it before, but she's coming round to the idea," the source added.
Also according to the source, the "Thinking of You" singer, is "madly in love" with the rapper and she is willing to stand by his side.
"It's so sad because she wears her heart on her sleeve and even she admits she jumps into relationships too quickly, but the problem with Katy is she's romantic," the source said.
The insider added, "Katy really wants Diplo to be Mr Right after kissing so many Mr Wrongs. She's hoping he's The One."
Aside from her ex John Mayer, Katy Perry was rumored to have dated a few A-lister celebrities including "Twilight" actor Robert Pattinson and rapper Riff Raff.
