Rumors about Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger divorce is now becoming clear as a report said that the Canadian couple's marriage is now over. The Nickelback frontman was also called as a "jerk" with regard to their relationship.

The "Best Damn Thing" singer is said to be facing rumors about Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger's divorce as a source told Us Weekly  that their marriage is now coming to an end.

"It's over," the insider said.

The source also narrated how the Nickelback frontman is a "jerk" to the pop rock singer, whom he married June last year.

"Chad is just a complete jerk in the way he talks to her, and the way he talks to people in general. A lot of her friends don't like him," the source said.

Early into their marriage, Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger divorce rumors have began circulating with news claiming that the "Girlfriend" singer's friends disapprove of their marriage.

"They don't like Chad, but she's already been through one painful divorce and they don't want to see her going through another unless there's no other option," a source also told E! News!

Also according to Hollywood Life, the couple is now rarely seen together. It noted that the last social media post of Avril Lavigne involving her husband was when she uploaded a snapshot of the anniversary gift she received.

The Twitter photo showed the blond singer with the NIckelback frontman as she displayed her stunning ring.

The caption read, "I still can't believe my 1 year anniversary gift. 17 carat emerald cut. I love my hubby."

Meanwhile, replying to tabloid rumors, Chad Kroeger explained that he also has to deal with his dad who called him because of the reports.

He told ET Canada that being a semi-celebrity can be compared to the things one has to deal with in high school multiplied a thousand times.
