MBC's new daily drama 'Oh Ja Ryong Is Coming' (written by Kim Sa Kyung, directed by Choi Won Suk) will air its first episode in November. 'Oh Ja Ryong Is Coming' will follow 'Can't Live Without You'.
The drama is about the 'reversal' of two son-in-laws. The older son-in-law married his wife because of her family's fortune while the younger son-in-law honestly loves his wife. The story is about the younger son-in-law, who is jobless, saving his wife's family from ruin by his scheming older brother-in-law.
Writer Kim Sa Kyung has written 'My Love By My Side', 'I Love You A Thousand Times', and 'Hate You Love You', all of which have hit ratings over 30%. PD Choi Won Suk, who directed 'Miss Ripley', will be directing this drama.
The brave and burly youth, Oh Ja Ryong, will be played by actor Lee Jang Woo. The reckless young lady, Na Gong Ju, will be played by Oh Yeon Seo.
Other cast members include Jang Mi Hee, Lee Hwi Hwang, Kim Hae Ok, Han Jin Hee, comedian Ryu Dam, and etc. The drama shows off a star-studded lineup of actors who were previously not seen in daily dramas.
MBC hopes to get back in the ratings game for the evening timeslot through their new daily drama 'Oh Ja Ryong Is Coming'.
