Oscar-winning actor Al Pacino has met up with Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige to discuss his possible role in an upcoming superhero move.

During his appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, the 74-year-old actor teased about his possible role in Marvel's next movies.

The podcast host, Josh Horowitz, opened up the subject on the "Guardians of the Galaxy" and asked if there's anything that should be coming out of it. Pacino responded, "I've met with the Marvel guy. It's a marvel how things happen" and then laughed.

After a few minutes, Horowitz asked another question of how the meeting went and if "the Marvel guy" was Kevin Feige. Pacino confirmed that it was Feige and that he would imagine that either there's something he (Feige) feels is right for him. Pacino wanted to add more from that statement when his phone rang.

Whatever role were they discussing, the Cosmic Book News claims that he will be playing as The Grandmaster, one of Marvel's supreme elders, in James Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy 2."
Whether this is true or not, character's appearance in the movie is still in question, as well as the actor's participation in Marvel's upcoming movies.

Earlier this year, Pacino said he had seen "Guardians of the Galaxy" with his children and that he had thoroughly enjoyed it, not only because it was a fun movie about space travel (and how to blow stuff up in space) but also because of the good acting and good storytelling.

Though Pacino didn't reveal further details about the meeting, Marvel certainly has a lot of upcoming projects lined up for the next five years, and they're also be in need of excellent casting. The studio has a total of nine new comic book movies in the works, with releases scheduled as far in the future as October, 2019.
